The problem
Pavements, trade, tourism, housing and heritage occupy the same space, while governance often treats them as separate problems.
Context
In March 2025, listened to Maha Chak Road vendors before taking their concerns into a discussion with municipal enforcement; in May 2026, joined a public forum on vending and pavements in Talat Noi.
What I did
I listened to vendors, joined a discussion with municipal enforcement officials and argued that pedestrian safety, livelihoods and community continuity must be designed together.
Verified result
Held vendor listening sessions, discussed the issues with municipal enforcement and presented proposals on pavements, street vending and the historic district.
Limits and unfinished work
There is no evidence that these proposals were approved or implemented.
Latest status
Kept as a documented urban-policy foundation to develop further. The 2026 election has concluded.
